2026 Chevrolet Suburban 4WD High Country
Driving the 2026 Chevrolet Suburban 4WD, High Country, you feel big; this is the Largest Chevrolet SUV. It is attractive, strong, large, powerful, and offers several trim models to choose from.
The High Country trim model is the top of the line for the Suburban lineup, and as you enter the cabin, you’re greeted by the scent of leather and luxury. It is furnished with first- and second-row fancy leather seating surfaces featuring perforated inserts, unique stitching and badging, and authentic wood décor.

The famous Suburban is the oldest car model currently in production in the United States. Its production began in 1936.
I enjoy the advanced technology standard in all suburban models, like the Google built-in, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto with real-time traffic updates. The modern 11-inch diagonal digital Driver Information Center and a user-friendly, best-in-class 17.7-inch diagonal center touchscreen display provide drivers with an excellent view of the car’s controls.
The new Suburban is smarter, it offers exceptional ride and handling, with optional available features like Magnetic Ride Control and Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, which can help optimize ride height and comfort by adjusting the suspension to road conditions.
The new 2026 Suburban offers comfortable seating for up to nine passengers with the LS front bench, and captain’s chairs available on upper trims, reducing capacity to 7 to 8 seats.

Cargo space is always limited on three-row large SUVs, in this case, with 41.5 cu-ft behind the 3rd row, 93.8 cu-ft behind the 2nd row, and a maximum of 144.5 cu-ft with both rows folded. If you don’t use but fold the third row, then you can enjoy a larger capacity.
I like the Suburban’s new Infotainment, featuring a 17.7″ Google-built-in display with Maps, Assistant, and Play. For better connectivity, drivers can enjoy wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto compatibility, and a 15-inch Head-Up Display is available.
Depending on the trim level, you can enjoy features such as leather and ventilated seats, heated second-row seats, a Power-Sliding Center Console, and a Rear-Seat Media system.

Suburban Versus Tahoe
Both the Suburban and the Tahoe are the largest SUVs in the Chevrolet family. The Suburban is a longer-wheelbase version of the Tahoe, with more cargo space behind the third row.
Both SUVs share the same engines, interior technology, and similar seating capacity. The Suburban costs more. The Tahoe has increased towing capacity.
The Suburban is ideal for those who need more interior space with more cargo volume and passenger space, while the Tahoe is just a bit smaller but can still handle similar tasks and offers a slightly higher towing capacity.
The Chevrolet Suburban is the top SUV model and the most expensive SUV in the Chevy family. The Suburban is also more expensive than the Chevy Silverado. The popular Tahoe is similar in size and pricing to the Suburban, but the Suburban is larger and more expensive.
The Chevrolet SUV family includes other smaller SUV models, such as the Bolt, Trax, Trailblazer, Equinox, Blazer, and Traverse. There are many options for each budget, but the Suburban is definitely the top of the line with more of everything.

2026 Chevrolet Suburban Pricing and Models
Base Pricing for the 2026 Suburban model starts at $63,000 for the LS trim and goes up to $83,000 for the High Country top trim, which I am test-driving. As you add more features and packages, the price continues to increase.
This is not an inexpensive SUV, but it combines Chevrolet’s maximum power and luxury style.
