Introduction
I recently had the opportunity to drive the new 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite. The Elite is the top of the line model including many nice features that would make you fall in love with this minivan. I drove the Odyssey from Miami to Palm Coast and then to Orlando, for a total of around 500 miles in 3 days. As I begin to drive the Odyssey I am impressed with the beautiful exterior design and also the very comfortable and luxury interior.
Features and more features…I start to try every possible option in the control panel touchscreen, including Honda APPs and third party APPs, navigation, back-camera, audio, radio, car settings, front and rear A/C controls, entertainment, back monitors, among many other features. I like the amount of features and controls, and also like how this Odyssey has a lot of buttons. I like the touchscreen but is also nice to be able to control the car with buttons on the dashboard or on the steering wheel.

The all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite is striking, stylish, but when you start to explore it more, you see that everything is easy to use, simple – which means being intelligent for a modern car. All details were created to make things more simple. Some of the great features included on the 2018 Elite Odyssey are, a bumper detects foot wave, providing hands-free opening. Power Tailgate with Programmable Height will adjust to a driver, which is very useful when few family members share one car. The power Sliding Doors can be opened or closed with the key fob up to 50 feet away, providing lots of cargo space.
Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock permits to open the door with a touch of door handle, while your key fob is in your pocket. This system will also lock the door when you are 8 feet away. Roof Rails and Crossbars give a lot of options if you need to haul anything and stay sure it is secure.

The seating set up on the Odyssey is very impressive. Too many settings and too many ways to control the position of the folding seats in the back. The magic slide in the second row is an amazing feature.

Ace-body design of the new 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite was created to reinforce protection in case of frontal collision. Front seat belts immediately pull in if the frontal influence is felt. Seat belts also have load limiter to adjust pressure. Honda Odyssey Elite is equipped not only with advanced front airbags, but with SmartVent front side airbags also, front knee airbags and side curtain airbags, which guarantees even more protection. Multi-Angle Rearview Camera gives opportunity to select necessary angle to make sure you move in the right direction when moving into reverse – normal, top-down or wide.

Some people consider minivan’s a boring car, but this car is not boring at all, I think it is a fun and cool automobile with so much space and features for a value price.
