Introduction

The new 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport is a beautiful pickup truck with an interesting from look that remind me of the classic pickup trucks, very wide side to side in the front and with a sport look, ready for any adventure or action.  In terms of cargo, it has plenty of cargo space.  As I drive this new Tacoma I am learning more about all the new features and feeling the power of 278 HP.

Toyota

If you follow Toyota history and development, it’s easy to see that Toyota is always in a search of new ways to improve their operations, trying to innovate and show the better results with every new model. Toyota strives to build vehicles to match customer interest and thus they typically are built with popular options.

The foundation of Toyota goes back to 1890, when Kiichiro Toyoda received a patent for his renewed hand loom design. It was a wooden handloom and the patent application was accepted in November that year, and was awarded patent No. 1195, “Loom”, the following year on May 14, 1891.

Knowing well the highest level of Toyota cars, it is hard to imagine it was not even a car production at the beginning. Speaking about automobiles engineering, in June1933 he started to prepare for the new Automotive Production Division and sent his director to the U.S. and Europe to buy machine tools for automotive production that had been studied beforehand and concentrated his efforts on a design that used common parts, so that customers could use service parts for the Ford and Chevrolet vehicles that were prevalent in Japan at the time.

The very first SB truck was launched in April 1947, small truck equipped with the S engine.
